Sour Service Drilling Pipes

HK Richie UK Limited offer sour service drilling pipes which is a specialized drilling tool that is resistant to hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion, developed to meet the needs of oil and gas prospecting and drilling operations containing sulfur or a high presence of sulfur. The second generation of sour service drill pipes (including HL95SS and HL105SS) has been developed based on the first generation HL95S, HL105S sour service drill pipes, and by adopting imported highly pure raw materials with strict control over S and P content, as well as adopting a special heat treatment process and production control technology developed in-house. The resulting sour service drill pipes conform to the requirements of international IRP1.8, NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156 criteria in all key performance indexes, making them suitable for sulfurous environments and special drill technology conditions such as underbalanced drilling.

The sour service drill pipes cover all specifications corresponding to API standards ranging from 2 3/8″ to 6 5/8″; its core technology has been submitted for application for a national invention patent.
