Norwegian offshore service provider DOF secured three long-term contracts by ConocoPhillips Skandinavia for the deployment of Multi Role Vessels ‘Skandi Hugen, Skandi Marøy and Skandi Nova

DOF said that, the contracts awarded by ConocoPhillips Skandinavia for 2012 built MRV’s for the duration of five years, with a further three three year options.

The contracts will commence in Q4 of this year and Q1 next year.

Mons Aase, CEO of DOF said, “We are pleased to have these contracts signed and are prepared to continue our good relationship with ConocoPhillips.”

In addition to three MRV’s, ConocoPhillips Skandinavia has declared the options for IMR and ROV services with DOF Subsea Norway in connection with the MRV vessel Skandi Hugen, for the same duration.

All three 2012 built MRV’s are purpose built, 82.2m long and features STX’s new bow design ‘ STX MRV 05 CD’, optimized for Ecodrive in all weather conditions.
