TechnipFMC Wins Contract for Construction of Huge LNG Plant

TechnipFMC signed a contract with Arctic LNG 2 of Novatek for construction of LNG plant

NOVATEK (hereinafter “NOVATEK” and / or the “Company”) announced that, its joint venture LLC Arctic LNG 2 and TechnipFMC have signed a contract for the design, supply of equipment, materials and components, construction and commissioning of the preparation and liquefaction of natural gas with a capacity of 19.8 million tons per year under the Arctic LNG 2 project. The contract provides for the launch of the first phase of the project in 2023.

Leonid Michelson, Chairman of the Board of NOVATEK said,“The team that implemented the unique Yamal LNG project in record time and within the budget has launched an even more ambitious and innovative project.”

“We are confident that the accumulated experience of joint work on the construction of LNG plants in the Arctic will allow us to implement our new project, Arctic LNG 2, also successfully in the planned timeframe,” Leonid added.
