Jack-Up Drilling Rig Catches Fire – Video

A Video is circulating online of a jack-up rig on fire. The video was originally posted on the 16th of Arpil and shows a large fire engulfing the rig while no support vessels apear to be close by.

The posts claim the footage was filmed offshore Saudi Arabia but no mention is made of the company or asset involved and this information is unconfirmed at this time.

The voices that can be heard on the video are in Arabic and are expressing concern for the workers on the rig. From searches online we are pretty sure this is a new video and are currently trying to find out more information.
